Skills Overview
Skills are connections between Aori and your data sources. Each Skill is added with a few taps — choose a folder, connect an account, or grant access. No server configuration, no technical setup.

Adding a Skill
Section titled “Adding a Skill”- Go to Settings → Connections → Skills.
- Tap the Skill you want to add.
- Follow the connection steps (folder picker or OAuth login).
- Once connected, Aori can access that source in your conversations.
Read vs. Write Permissions
Section titled “Read vs. Write Permissions”Aori asks for your explicit approval before taking any write action (creating a file, sending an email, creating a calendar event, updating a Notion page). Read and search operations happen automatically when relevant.
Privacy
Section titled “Privacy”Local files stay on your device. Cloud Skills (Notion, Google Account) send only the specific content needed for a given request to your chosen AI provider — Aori does not bulk-upload your data.
Removing a Skill
Section titled “Removing a Skill”Go to Settings → Connections → Skills, tap the connected Skill, and select Disconnect or Remove Folder.
