Anthropic’s Claude is widely considered to be one of the most capable models for reasoning and nuanced conversation. If you find that other models aren’t following complex instructions or lack “personality,” Claude 3.5 Sonnet is often the best choice for a personal AI agent like Aori.

Step-by-Step Setup

Go to console.anthropic.com and create an account.
Once your account is verified, you may receive $5 in free credits (current as of early 2026).
Go to the API Keys section in the console.
Click the Create Key button.
Copy the new key and store it securely.

How to Enter Your Key in Aori

Open Aori on your device.
Go to Settings → Connections → LLM Provider.
Select Anthropic from the list of providers.
Paste your API key.
Tap Save or Connect.

Model Options

Aori supports the following Claude models:

Claude 3.5 Sonnet (Default): The best balance of quality and speed. Recommended for daily agent tasks.
Claude 3.5 Haiku: A faster and significantly cheaper version of Claude that is still very capable for simple tasks.

Pricing and Context

Anthropic uses a pay-per-token billing model. You add credits to your account, and each interaction with Aori deducts a small amount. Because of Claude’s large context window, it’s particularly good for keeping track of long, ongoing projects.
