Step-by-Step Setup

1. Go to brave.com/search/api.
2. Click the “Get started for free” button and create an account.
3. Once in your dashboard, click Create API Key.
4. Copy your new API key.

How to Enter Your Key in Aori

1. Open Aori on your device.
2. Go to Settings → Connections → Search.
3. Select Brave Search from the options.
4. Paste your API key into the field and save.

How Aori Uses Web Search

Aori uses the web search tool automatically when it needs information that it doesn’t already have in its memory or when you ask about current events. When Aori is performing a search, you will see a “Searching the web” notification or entry in the agent log.
